Beep Portfolio

This document is a compilation of several projects we completed in my Bilingual Education class.  This project asked for us to assess a child who needed individual instruction and tutoring.  The file includes journal entries, a lesson plan, family suitcase, and board game.  The name of the student is not disclosed in the document.

Service Learning Visual

A project where we completed 15 hours of volunteer work.  This is a visual aid I created to show the work I did.

Text Talk Lesson Plan

A lesson plan over the book, Julius, The Baby of the World by Kevin Henkes.  The lesson plan is intended to lead children into a discussion that tests their comprehension. I used the Bloom’s Taxonomy to format my questions.

Place Value Lesson Plan for 4th Grade

I designed this lesson plan around 4th grade mathematics.  The lesson is designed to review place value.

Diversity Lesson Plan

This lesson plan was based on teaching younger children about bullying and teasing.  It includes Social Studies TEKS.

Home School Project

I designed this lesson based around the book Charlotte’s Web.  There is a series of activities the child takes home to complete with their parents or family members.  Most, if not all, materials are included in the activity pages.

Thematic Science Lesson Plan (includes 5 total plans)

This is a integrated, thematic lesson plan for 2nd grade science over the parts of a plant.

Story Telling Lesson on The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This is a story telling lesson I did that goes along with the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  The lesson is intended for Kindergartners.  I used puppets to tell the story using Popsicle sticks.  Click on the document below to see visuals of my puppets.
